Corporate
Helping you achieve your
Corporate Social Responsibility aims

Corporate fundraising is up by 7.4% in the UK*
Today the Hospice costs £5 million a year to run. Sadly only 25% comes from the government, with over 70% being given by charitable donations.   So far for the 2008 financial year over £60,000 has been raised through companies in our catchment area, which represents 2.7% of the fundraising income (not including shops, lottery).
Companies in our area large and small have benefited from working with the Hospice.  Our corporate fundraising has a proven track record in understanding business needs and matching those with Hospice fundraising opportunities.
A partnership with St Luke’s Hospice can help you to:
Motivate your staff
·    You can boost morale and build loyalty amongst employees
·    Encourage team building and leadership skills
     Enhance your brand
·    Increase your reputation as a socially responsible company
·    Initiate positive PR opportunities

Sponsorship

Corporate sponsorship is a very popular way for companies to support a charity, with a 30% rise in income from corporate sponsorship was identified in 2007 **.
There are various things that we are looking for corporate sponsors for from events, Hospice magazine, Hospice Herald, annual newsletters and packs.  Sponsors in return receive their logo alongside the Hospice logo on literature, merchandise, website, publicity, presence at events and more.  A contract is drawn up with each corporate sponsor detailing the coverage in return for their sponsorship amount.

Charity of The Year

Employee Fundraising

St Luke’s Hospice fundraising team can support your employees with all their fundraising.  Every year we have a busy events schedule. In addition to this, every year we organise specific corporate team building events, which are great fun and the same companies return year on year.
This year we are launching a brand new prestigious corporate event, which no business can afford to miss - email hayley.dann@stlukes-hospice.org.uk for more details!
Alternatively, perhaps your employees would like to organise their own bespoke event.  Our dedicated and professional fundraising team can help give you advice and point you in the right direction for contacts to do so.  Examples in the past include coffee mornings, corporate balls, overseas treks and corporate golf days.
