Education, Training & Development
St Luke's Services are dedicated to the delivery of an Education & Training Programme, which supports and develops all those caring for patients and their families, clinically and non-clinically, within the palliative care setting.
Our Education Department leads St Luke's Multi-Professional Team to share their specialist knowledge in palliative care, symptom management, patient & family support, communication skills, ethical skills and staff & volunteer support.
Education Programme
To meet the needs of those working across the HealthCare Region, the Education and Specialist team works collaboratively with Plymouth NHS Trust, Plymouth P.C.T., Peninsula Network, Plymouth University & Plymouth Medical School and other regional Hospices. This ensures that the range of courses, study days and teaching programmes are based on evidence based practice and are updated regularly to reflect what is current in both National and Regional Palliative and Hospice care.
