We’re looking to improve on the huge success of the 2007 skydives which raised almost £10,000 for the hospice and proved to be the experience of a lifetime for those taking part. Jim Nolan celebrated his 65th birthday by throwing himself out of a plane at 15,000ft and in doing so raised nearly £2,000. We have two jumps lined up for 2008; one on 8th March and the other on 30th August. We’re asking participants to raise a minimum of £250 for the hospice, which won’t include the cost of the jump itself (£250 for a jump from 15,000ft).
If you decide to go for it then the funds you raise will contribute to a service that helps hundreds of people in your area every year and, on top of that, you’ll be doing something to remember for the rest of your life.
