In order to continue the vital work of St Luke's, we have to raise more than £4million every year from our local community.
The Community Fundraising team are always looking to hear from supporters in the local community who are keen to get involved with St Luke’s.

Stephanie Cherrington – Senior Community Fundraiser (Plymouth)
I am the St Luke’s Community Fundraiser for the Plymouth area. I am always out and about promoting St Luke’s and helping people organise various fundraising events. From Kickboxing Events to Tea Parties I love seeing what great ideas you all have to help raise funds for St Luke’s. Katie Edmondson – Community Fundraiser (Devon and Cornwall)
I am the Community Fundraiser for Devon and Cornwall and on hand to help YOU with community events in the area. I love getting out and about into the community, meeting new and enthusiastic people, whilst spreading the word about St Luke’s and the wonderful work we do. How you can get involved:
Organise an event
We are always looking to hear from supporters in the local community who are keen to organise an events for St Luke’s Hospice.
To help, we have created a brand new Fundraising pack full of all the tips and ideas you need to organise your own event.
Whether a sponsored football match or street party, the Fundraising pack gives you all the information you need including posters, sponsor forms, media contacts and more. Each event organiser will also be assigned a St Luke’s Fundraiser (Stephanie or Katie) who can be on hand to advise you and supply collection buckets, balloons and literature.
Organising a fundraising event can be an extremely rewarding experience and it can also increase various skills such as organisation and marketing. Event experience also looks great on any CV.

Groups
Are you a member of a group or society and would like to get involved in St Luke’s? Groups and Societies can come together to hold events for St Luke’s. Why not select St Luke’s as your Charity of the Year and raise funds through regular raffles, quizzes or competitions? Stephanie and Katie are on hand to discuss ideas, tips and planning events, no matter how big or small.
Stephanie or Katie would love to come and talk to your group about the work of the Hospice and will tailor it to meet your needs. Alternatively small groups could arrange to come up to the Hospice for a talk and tour. We also do our best to accommodate last minute bookings so don’t be afraid to ask, just call 01752 492626
Take a trip with your group to visit one of the St Luke’s Open Gardens, or come along to the Strictly Christmas Tea Dance or Midday Memory Mile. Why not get a team together for the Midnight Walk for Women?
