Remembering your loved one is a very special and personal thing. At St Luke's Hospice, we understand the importance of cherishing those you have loved and lost. We have many ways for you to remember and honour them.
St Luke's can establish a Tribute Fund in the name of your loved one. The fund will help commemorate their life and keep their memory alive. It will also enable St Luke's to continue its vital work to change the lives of terminally ill people who rely on our services, today, tomorrow and in the future.
Anyone can donate to, or raise money for, a Tribute Fund. There are many ways that family and friends can make further contributions to a Tribute Fund, for example, one-off donations on special occasions, regular monthly gifts and by organising fundraising events. Usually the person who sets up the fund becomes the Tribute Fund Administrator, and they will be kept up to date with the total as it grows. Many supporters use a Tribute Fund to collectively raise many thousands of pounds in celebration of their loved one. We will also set up an online tribute for you to personalise your fund with photo’s, thoughts, messages and memories. We will also light a candle for you on your chosen day and commemorate a birthday or anniversary with a card (if you wish).
Pebble Garden
Have a pebble engraved in memory and place it either in our memorial garden or in your loved ones favourite location.
Book of Names
Enter the name of your loved one in our special book that is displayed in the Hospice Chapel, marking a significant anniversary or date.

Join us on this beautiful, tranquil and spiritual annual trip and scatter Forget-me-not’s into the Sound, before embarking on a short cruise with others who wish to celebrate and remember a lost loved one.

Light up a Life is the name given to a series of very special community events that take place throughout Cornwall, Plymouth and Devon during December every year. Organised by St Luke's Hospice, Light up a Life events provide a special way to remember a loved one. They are open to everyone - not just people whose loved ones St Luke’s Hospice cared for. These events offer an opportunity to remember, celebrate and light a candle in memory of a loved one. This year's services will be at:
Wesley Church, Saltash - Thursday 1 December, 2pm
St Eustachius Church, Tavistock - Thursday 8 December, 7pm
St George’s Church, Modbury - Sunday 4 December, 4pm
Methodist Church, Liskeard - Sunday 11 December, 4pm
The Minster Church of St Andrew, Plymouth - Wednesday 14 December,
2pm, 5.30pm and 7.30pm
