As a passion for fashion sweeps the nation, St Luke’s is set to hold a HUGE Swish Clothes Swapping Party on Friday, March 26th at Plymouth Guildhall. Doors open at 6:30pm and ‘Swishers’ will be greeted with a welcome drink and a goody bag.

Browsing commences at 7:30pm, with the actual ‘Swish' starting at 9pm. The evening will be a fashion bonanza incorporating retail and beauty exhibitors, catwalk shows, personal stylists, clothing makeover stands, live entertainment, competitions and tasty food and drink.  Amongst the exhibitors are: Vogue Hair Salon, Uno Boutique, Sunglass Hut, Ten Years Younger and Spoilt.

Swishing is a popular idea that allows you to get fantastic new styles for your wardrobe in a very eco-friendly way, without spending a penny (except for buying a ticket to the Swish event!)
On the evening take along up to four items of good quality clothing and swap each item for something else – it’s that simple!

St Luke’s Events Fundraiser Amie Kidd said: “Swishing is a trend that has gripped the nation and one that we want to bring to Plymouth. It’s set to be a fashion-filled evening where anyone can swap unwanted clothes, shoes or accessories for something else they’ll they love. People will also be able to purchase new and unique fashion items from local retailers. It’s going to be fantastic!”
