Volunteering


Hospice Based


Drivers: to drive patients to and from the St Luke's Day Hospice at Pearn. (Please note: you must be over 25 with D1 catagory on your driving licence)

Fundraisers: URGENTLY REQUIRED energetic volunteers to help with all aspects of fundraising events. Lots of roles available in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Maintenance Helpers: required to carry out a range of duties. Specialist skills (i.e. Electrical/Mechanical) desirable, but not essential.

Receptionists: at our Pearn site

Servery volunteers: required to help serve drinks and snacks over the counter and to patients on our in-patient unit.

Collecting Can Assistant: The post holder will work closely with the Collections Controller and they will ensure all donation boxes are collected and replaced on a regular basis. They will also be responsible to put up posters and put out bookmarks where possible when on their travels.

Literature Distributor: The post holder will work closely with the Fundraising Department and ensure that leaflets, posters and fliers are distributed as requested to enable the Fundraising Department to advertise and promote forthcoming events successfully.

Shop Based

Distribution Warehouse: We need volunteers to help at our warehouse, sorting bags of donated goods and preparing items to be dispatched to our shops.

Shop Volunteers: Please contact the shop you are interested in for a shop application.

Charity bag helpers: We need volunteers to assist with delivering/collecting Charity bags at residential addresses.
