PR: St Luke’s home care service expands to cover Tavistock and Ivybridge

Home help for people living in Tavistock and Ivybridge just got a little brighter as St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth expands the operations of its domiciliary care agency.

St Luke’s Care offers a range of both long and short term paid-for services to support people to continue to live in their own home, donating any profit it makes back into the work of the hospice. And with this expansion of the service comes a new look for the hard-working team who will now wear a distinctive shade of pink that reflects their warm and compassionate approach to supporting people in their own homes.

St Luke’s Care Business Manager Sarah Roberts explained, “While we are connected to the hospice, St Luke’s Care can provide professional end of life care within the home setting together with bespoke personal care packages which may include meal preparation, attending appointments, getting out and about, or other targeted support.”

With the addition of the new locations St Luke’s Care now covers all of Plymouth and the surrounding area. All of the staff have completed a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate criminal record check and are required to commit to national-standard training in their field.
