Midnight Walk
Midnight Walk is a family-friendly event, suitable for all ages and kindly sponsored by Michael Spiers.
There are four routes to take on, 2.5, 5, 7.5 or 13.5 miles, all beginning and ending at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park stadium in the Fan Zone.
To celebrate the launch of our St Luke’s Guiding Lights Art Trail this summer, our Midnight Walk this year gave our walkers the chance to experience our magical illuminated lighthouse trail on the 5-mile route. Read more about this below.
Our Midnight Walk is a chance to shine a light on all those very special people who are no longer with us, while striding forward to secure the future of our hospice services at home and in our specialist unit.
Thank you to all our walkers who took part in this year’s event. View the Facebook photo album here.
The 5-mile route was extra magical in 2026, as participants followed our illuminated Guiding Lights art trail – a stunning series of lighthouse sculptures lighting up Plymouth’s streets and waterfront, for one night only. Each lighthouse has been beautifully designed by local and regional artists and proudly sponsored by local businesses, creating a truly unforgettable experience. How much can you raise?
Your registration only covers your official Midnight Walk t-shirt and medal, refreshments and our event costs.
It’s your additional sponsorship and donations that really make the difference to the patients who need our vital service at home and at our specialist unit at Turnchapel, 365 days a year.
Just think, if you and every single Midnight Walker commits to raising £100, the event will bring in enough for our St Luke’s teams to care for 100 families at home.
