We are accepting donations!
We will able to accept your kind donations on Tuesdays (exception of Plymouth Barbican shops), Thursdays and Saturdays, with a maximum of 3 bags or boxes per household to ensure our teams do not become overwhelmed with items. Thank you. Some of our shops will require a booking to bring in donations, please call your local shop directly to confirm if a booking slot is required. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we’ve been processing the donations we’ve received in the most covid-safe way possible.
Our free furniture collection service has opened again for select collections, visit our webpage to see if you are eligible.
Plympton Distribution Centre
Though our Plympton Distribution Centre (warehouse) has now closed its doors permanently because operating it is no longer the most cost-effective way for our charity to sort and distribute items donated for our shops, don’t worry. We still welcome the good-quality items you don’t want to keep!
In fact, we need your pre-loved clothes, furniture, books, crockery and bric-a-brac more than ever because everything we sell means more money to help us be here for the increasing number of local families who desperately need our compassionate care and support.
By donating your items direct to our charity shops, you’ll help St Luke’s be more efficient in what we do. We’ll either sell them at the store where you drop them off or transport them to another where we know they’re more likely to fetch a better price. This means we no longer need to run a big warehouse to hold our stock, which in turn means we save money we can spend on caring for our patients.
Thank you for continuing to support St Luke’s – it is so appreciated!
