London Marathon 2027
2027 date to be confirmed
Run the TCS London Marathon in aid of St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth
Have you always dreamt of running a marathon in our capital city? Choose to run the London Marathon for St Luke’s!
The money you raise in sponsorship will help make an incredible difference to the lives of local people and their families who we care for both at home and at our specialist unit at Turnchapel.
We will support you every step of the way with running vests, donation buckets and sponsorship forms. As well as this, all our London Marathon runners will be supported by Marjon Sport Therapy & Rehabilitation Clinic, whether you have a ballot place or are one of our charity spot runners.
While our charity spots have been filled for 2027 already, we would love to still support anyone who gets a ballot spot and would like to run in aid of St Luke’s.
Wherever and whenever you run, the sponsorship you raise will go towards not only the outstanding medical care we give our patients but also vital emotional and practical support for them and their families.
If you gain a ballot entry for the London Marathon next year and would like to run for St Luke’s, then we would love to hear from you. Get in touch with us below.

Gold Bond Charity Places – 2028
We are excited to announce that we have four charity places available for the 2028 London Marathon. We are looking for someone with a passion to take on the challenge of training for and running a marathon while supporting St Luke’s.
You will need to raise a minimum of £2,500 (not including Gift Aid of Matched Funding). We are looking for dedicated supporters with a connection to St Luke’s, a story we can share and the ability to reach the fundraising targets.
The applications will be scored by 2 separate panels to ensure fairness, with applications open until Monday 31 August 2026. Places will be allocated from Tuesday 1 September 2026 as soon as is feasible.
