Men's Day Out Event Rotator

Gentlemen with the guts for a good laugh you are invited to once again sign-up for our Men’s Day Out event and sponsored 12km walk on Saturday 25 March 2017.

The men-only day of rugby and banter, powered by IU Energy starts at Plymouth Albion at 10am and trails through the city, across Mutley Plain, into the city centre, past the Barbican and Hoe. You then head back to the rugby ground, taking pit-stops if you wish, for a well-deserved pasty, pint and entry to watch a match between Plymouth Albion and Newcastle-based team, Blaydon.

St Luke's Memory Jar

Hundreds of glowing jars are set to light up Plymouth Sound in April, as part of our beautiful Memory Jar display.

Here's your opportunity to own a glass memory jar and write your own handwritten message to a loved one, to go inside. The memory jar will then join hundreds of others to create an enchanting display of shared memories, bringing members of the community together in remembrance.

From 9 April for three weeks, the display will be on show for everyone to view in the garden on Plymouth Hoe, next to Valenti’s café. By day this beautiful garden will give the local community the chance to admire these memories and pay their respects to those no longer with us. By night the jars will illuminate with their individual solar lights to shine brightly over Plymouth Sound.
