Men’s Day Out
Saturday 14 March 2026
Step up for each other, stride out for hospice care.
A mass of big-hearted men will be marching through Plymouth on Saturday 14 March, making a massive difference to families in your local community who need the compassionate, expert care St Luke’s provides at the toughest of times.
Men’s Day Out is so much more than a fun, banter-fuelled outing to revel in with your mates – it’s also about being mindful of men’s mental health and the impact of bereavement while bringing in vital funds for St Luke’s.
Many of you walk in memory of loved ones but, let’s face it, men are masters at masking our emotions, even after losing someone we care deeply about. Sharing our feelings can make a big difference, and Men’s Day Out offers a great opportunity to drop the brave face and open up to others who know what we are going through.
Men’s Day Out is kindly sponsored by JEM Scaffolding Ltd.
Registration is now closed. If you have missed out on a spot this year, or want to do it all again in 2027, you can register your interest for next year using the form opposite.
Sponsorship
The registration fee of £35 only covers your official Men’s Day Out T-shirt, refreshments, a ticket for the rugby and our event costs. It’s your additional sponsorship and donations that really make the difference to the patients who need our vital service at home and at our specialist unit at Turnchapel, 365 days a year. If every walker raised £100 in sponsorship, it would help provide care at home for 300 people and their families. You can pay in your fundraising online via the button below or drop it into any of our shops.
